Pakistan’s Suspension and Its Consequences: According to a report by Indian express, FIFA imposed an immediate suspension on the PFF due to its failure to amend its constitution to ensure fair and democratic elections. This violation of FIFA’s governance requirements led to Pakistan’s exclusion from international football competitions until the issue is resolved.
FIFA’s Conditions for Lifting the Ban: FIFA will lift the suspension only if the PFF holds its General Assembly and approves the required amendments to meet FIFA and AFC regulations. However, if the suspension remains in force, Pakistan cannot participate in the upcoming Asian Cup qualifiers.
